A March Update from Sheryl Giesbrecht

March is here. That means it’s time for graduation with ICM at Africa Theological Seminary in Kenya and Uganda. There will be exciting testimonies of God’s provision and strength. It’s really remarkable to see how much ATS students risk, sacrifice, and trust God. Philippians 3:12 says, “Not that I have already obtained all this or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”

Here’s what recent ATS graduate Agnes Wanjiru says, “My graduation has marked a new beginning in my life both physically and spiritually. The going has been very tough but God has seen me through. I’m now being given a mandate to walk outside all corners of the world to proclaim the Word of God, and with my diploma in counseling, lives of many will be restored.”

A powerful comment from ATS graduate, Samuel Kakuko, BA Bible and Theology: “My graduation testifies of the faithfulness of God. The good work He began in me 4-1/2 years ago has come to accomplishment. Also, my graduation is important because it officially releases me to the work of God in ministry.”

I prepare for my Chosen Women Africa teaching trip to Kenya with Marnie Swedberg and Sharon Hurkens April 18 through May 3, 2016. Please pray for my preparation, teaching, health, and safety. Help sponsor me MU 020010M: Donate now at www.icmusa.org/donate.

My team and I are preparing now for the annual International Christian Ministries fundraising banquet on August 23, 2016. Mark your calendars NOW and plan to join us. ICM will celebrate 30 years in ministry! Don’t miss it. For reservations or sponsorships: http://www.icmusa.org/2016-august-event/.

Thank you for your partnership. I am praying for you as we serve God wherever He has planted you, to “press on to take hold of” that which Christ Jesus has for you.
